Judy Kay Curry Miller, 76 of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on January 28, 2026 at St, Mary's Medical Center.


She was born August 20, 1949, the daughter of the late Dean & Virginia Forbes Curry.


In addition to her parents Dean & Ginny, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Norman Miller, sister, Janet Mayhorn, niece, Krista Queen, brother-in-law Curtis Queen and J.R. Hatfield who was like a son to her.


Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.


Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Ashlee (Dennis) Baker; son, Shane Miller; sisters, Diana Queen and Linda (John) Evans; brother, Randy (Kaye) Curry; grandchildren, Kennedy (Trevor) Abbott and Dylan Miller; great grandchildren, Santana Jude Abbott who was her namesake and Dane Autry Abbott; her best friend, Diane Hatfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.
