Judy Dean Bell, 76 of Chapmanville, WV, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on July 3, 2024.

 

She was born September 10, 1947 in Madison, WV the daughter of the late George and Erna Cutlip.

In additon to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ancil Bell; son, Eddie (Michelle) Bell; grandson, Corey Bell; sisters, Susie Tackett, Ethel Ann Queen, and Nellie Bender.

Judy worked for years overseeing house keeping and maintenance at three mile curve nursing home, Logan Park Nursing home, and Boone Nursing home. She was a wonderful mother, mother in law, and nanan who was loved very much and will be missed endlessly.

Judy enjoyed going to church, cooking for her family, and cooking for her churches dinners.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Ancil (Sherry) Bell Jr. and Mike (Christa) Bell; grandchildren, Susan (Aaron) Burnette, Brittany (Brandon) Gillum, Casey (Montana) Bell, Cole (Jessica) Bell, and Hollie Bell; great grandchildren, Addie Burnette, Grayson Bell, Sophie Burnette, Weston Bell, Wallen Bell, Oaklee Bell, and Maggie Bell; special friend, Teresa Deskins, Wilma Craddock, and Judy Hensley.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 8, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Joey Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens in Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Cole Bell, Casey Bell, Brandon Gillum, Aaron Burnette, Ethan Spence, Allen Hensley and Paul Booton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwain Williams, Rusty Booton, and Warren Richards.
