Juanita Blevins

Juanita Blevins, 87 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 13, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV.

She was born January 11, 1934 in Rossmore, WV the daughter of the late Herb and Janey (Web) Richards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Truman Blevins, one son, Kelly Reece Carter, one sister, Masil Day, one grandson, Jason, daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Richards, and her father and mother-in-law, Alfred and Oma Blevins.

Juanita enjoyed cooking, watching TV, sight seeing and playing bingo. She also enjoyed bible study with her daughter Sharon.

Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, Greg Blevins, Trish Woody, Sharon Blevins, Jimmy Richards and Judy Allen; eleven grandchildren, Joey, Amy (Trevor), Tyler (Katie), Austin (Kacee), Zachary, Connie (Mike), Jimbo, Kelly, Ronnie, Billy Joe (Kim) and Cody; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; one sister, Sissy (Raymond) Sizemore; five sisters-in-law, Donna (Calvin) Thompson, Patty Blevins, Gail Blevins, Sue Blevins, and Rochelle Blevins; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her.

Private services will be held.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family also wishes that financial expressions of sympathy be made to the Charity of your choice in Juanita's honor.
