Joyce Faye Easterday, 85 of Dingess, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 6, 1941 in Dingess, WV the daughter of the late Flem and Dixie Marcum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed Hodge & Nancy Deskins and Lafe & Dolly Marcum; her husband, William Easterday; son, William Kirk Jr.; brothers, Flem Marcum Jr., Ed Marcum, and Stanley Marcum; and sisters, Nancy May Marcum, and Oretha Oldham; her grandson, Kyle Conley.

Joyce enjoyed shopping, jewelry, singing in the choir, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Anita Garver; son, Jeffery Scott Kirk; sisters, Freeda Belcher, Brenda Vance, Phyllis Whaley, and Linda Marcum; grandchildren, Jason Conley, Noah Whipple, Jennifer Kirk, Tamara Kirk, and Brittany Kirk; great grandchildren, Summer Conley, Kylie Conley, Samuel Leo Whipple, Serenity Kirk, Quinten Kirk, Karson Kirk, Alexi Kirk, Brooklyn Kirk, and Chloe Kirk; great great grandchild, Wyatt Daniel Scott Colegrove.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm at Trace Church of God.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 15, 2026 at Trace Church of God with Bobby Carter, Robby May, and Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Marcum Cemetery in Dingess, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
