Joshua Joe Gillum

Joshua Joe Gillum, 25, of Foster, WV, departed this life on January 3, 2022 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born April 6, 1996 in Logan, WV, the son of Billy Joe and Angela Faye Gillum.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Gillum, Sr and aunt, Ann Marie Young.

Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing, diesel trucks, off road riding side by sides and spending time with his son.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his grandparents, Donnie Sr & Margie Smith and Nancy Gillum; his companion, Carrie Clair; his son, Braxton Lee Gillum; and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Smith, Brandon Gillum, Dustin Gillum, Zach Gillum, Justin Gillum, Daniel Bryant, Ronnie Smith and Carl Ray Gillum, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Smith, Sr.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
