Johnny Kye May, 47 of Danville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2025 at Boone Memorial Hospital.

He was born October 11, 1977 in Charleston, WV the son of Stanley & Carolyn May.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray & Junie May and Bob & Sylvia Hill, and his aunt, Patricia.

Johnny enjoyed preaching, playing golf, fishing and the outdoors. He loved spending time with family and racing.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his son, Nolan; one brother, Bobby May (Jay); his best friend, Bill Nelson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Billy Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Gardens, Low Gap Road, Danville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Zach, Matthew, Vince, Paul and Jay.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
