Johnny Harrison Eskins, 93, of Pecks Mill, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born September 29, 1927 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Rad Eskins and Lena Jeffery.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and Richard Eskins; and his siblings, Margaret Glycagis, Paul Eskins, Herbert Eskins, Louise Wilson, Amie Wilson, Velvie Clark, Fonnie Hannah, Hobert Lambert, Leota Chapman, Delphi Logan, and Arnie Fay Staley; and his father and mother in law, Tolly and Sally Mullins.
Johnny was a member of the Mill Creek Church of God for fortynine years, and the VFW Honor Gaurd, and enjoyed spending time with his family and going to church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Irene Eskins; one daughter, Carolyn (Gary) Morris; four sons, David (Delilah) Eskins, Terry (Debbie) Eskins, Johnny (Jamii) Eskins and Tommy Eskins; one daughter-in-law, Linda Hensley Eskins; three sisters, Ilene Freeman, Minnie Anderson and Freda Moore; one brother, Bazzle Lambert; eight-teen grandchildren, Jennifer, Sharon, Kamala, Staci, Tony, Matthew, Melissa, Jason, Amanda, Joshua, Brandy, Jeremy, Sarah, Daniel, Tyler, Andrew, Kara and Johnathan; Thirty-five great-grandchildren, Elise, Nora, Lily, Jack, Savannah, Emma, Jacob, Kaylyn, Makenna, Devin, Kaci, Jessi, Lydia, Anthony, Austin, Miranda, Brandi, Jami, Hannah, Alivia, Ian, Amelia, Kylee, Kayleigh, Braxton, Noah, Carson, Trent, Scarlett, Troy, Kinley, Hailey, Henry, Jameson, Bailey; and ten great great-grandchildren, Cameron, Easton, Hunter, Zoe, Morgan, Zena, Branson, Gauge, braxton and Wyatt.
Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Mill Creek Church of God with Harry Dingess and Stephan Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Mill Creek Church of God
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, honorary pallbearers will be his sons.
