John Tracy “Johnni Reb” Doss passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

John was born November 12, 1971 in Logan, WV.

Peach Creek was his home. He loved the outdoors, riding his four wheeler, tinkering, fixing things and socializing. He was a joy to be around, he will be terribly missed by all that met and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dora Adair Johnson; one brother, Robbie Raikes; one sister, Dorothy Thompson; one nephew, Ronald Adair; and one niece, Ashley Raikes.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Gearldine Workman; four sons, Cody Doss, Dustin Doss, Caleb Doss and Nicholas Doss all of Logan; two brothers, Thomas (Anita) Adair of Henlawson and Dale Raikes of Peach Creek; one sister, Georgia Pelfrey of Huntington; and his best friends and buddies, Glen “Hounddog” (Coke) Adkins of Peach Creek, with many other good friends and neighbors.

John's death will be a big loss to the entire community of Peach Creek and also surrounding areas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Houn' Dog's Barn at Peach Creek, WV.
