John Tomblin Obituary
John Riley Tomblin, 74, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Thomas Memorial Hospital.
He was born December 14, 1948 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Kathleen Blankenship and Ossie Tomblin.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by, his wife Myra Tomblin; sister, Lynn Tomblin; and his first wife, Patricia Meadows.
Those left to cherish his memory include daughters, Kathryn Tomblin and Misty Meeks; sons, John D. Tomblin and David Ellis; sisters, Emma Jean Dyer and Cheryl Dalton; brother, Bill Tomblin; grandchildren, Caleb Ellis, Jaala Price, Shelby Adkins, and Max Cline; great grandchildren, Azariah Ellis, Asher Ellis, Noah Price, and Oakland Price.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Clifford Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Home Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Ellis, Max Cline, John D. Tomblin, Chris Meeks, Elijah Adkins, and Christopher Meeks.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
