John Preston Dillon

John Preston Dillon, 59, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on November 10, 2020 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY.

He was born July 4, 1961 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Roscoe & Freda Dillon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ab Dillon, Daisey Nelson, and John Preston & Susan Fleming, and one sister, Florence Susan Dillon.

John enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, being outdoors and in the mountains.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, John Bradley Dillon of Dingess; two sisters, Janice Dillon Copley and Shelby (Sid) Moore both of Dingess; one brother, Roscoe “Dick” Dillon of Dingess; many special friends; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, Dingess, WV with Rev. Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Prince-Nelson Cemetery, Dingess, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
