John Lee Conley

John Lee Conley, 67, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 25, 2022 in Chapmanville, WV.

He was born September 12, 1954 in LaPorte, IN, the son of the late William “Bill” Conley and Molly Carter White.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peter & Betty Carter and William & Harriet Conley, daughter, Bridgette Conley, brother, Bill Conley and his mother-in-law, Carol Bias.

John enjoyed playing music, painting, and being outdoors.

Those left to cherish his memory include the mother of his children, Sherry Conley; two daughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Craddock and Johnna (Johnny Ray) Baldwin; one son, Mike (Melanie) Bias; two sisters, Mary (David) Belcher, and Lori Gore; three brothers, Robert “Bob” Carter, Matthew (Indie) Conley and Mark (Pauline) Conley; six grandchildren, Shawn, Kendall, and Cohen Craddock, Jon Baldwin, Adele Javins and Colton Bias; and his father-in-law, Emory Bias.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bobby Carter and Bill Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Low Gap, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Craddock, Shawn Craddock, Johnny Baldwin, Jon Baldwin, JR Belcher, and Cohen Craddock.

Honorary pallbearer will be Tylor Carter.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
