Jessie Eugene Wiley

Jessie Eugene Wiley, 82, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on February 11, 2021 at his residence.

He was born September 17, 1938 in Harts, WV, the son of the late Roosevelt Wiley & Hester Nelson Wiley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Wiley, second wife, Rose Wiley, brother, Earnest Wiley, sisters, Irene Dalton and Elsie Estep, son, Richard Vance and grandson, Gabe Webb.

Jessie was a retired UMWA coal miner. He enjoyed woodwork, coon hunting, old cars, running the roads and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include four sons, Charles & Kayla Wiley, Lonnie Vance, David Webb, and Michael Webb; two sisters, Ona May & Arlie Dalton and Della & James Noll; four brothers, Franklin Dee & Ann Wiley, Bill Wiley, Johnny Wiley and Odell Wiley; nine grandchildren, Tanner & Monica Wiley, Walker & Skylar Wiley, Connor Wiley, Taylor Ball, Alex Wiley, Brad & Christy Vance, Ryan Vance, Desi & Kohl Maynard and Jenna & Levi Kirby; nine great-grandchildren; special friend, Willard Horton; and brother-in-law, Albert Conley.

Services will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home with Ernie Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Wiley, Walker Wiley, Brad Vance, Ryan Vance, Braydon Vance and Dylan Vance.
