Jerry Ball, 85 of Danville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, January 30, 2026 at Teays Valley Hospital, Hurricane, WV.

He was born December 2, 1940 in Hewett, WV, the son of the late Cyrus and Florence Ball.
 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Ball and his son, James Lee Ball.

Jerry enjoyed fixing motors, mowing grass, going to church, and helping the sick and widowed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, April Ball; son, Jerry Lee Ball, Jr.; two grandchildren, Noah Ball and Christian Ball; two great grandchildren, Everleigh Ball and Ellie Ball; special niece, Barbra (Nathan) Hays; and special nephew, Jeremy Justice.

Services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Lick Creek Community Church with Billy Nelson officiating. 

A dinner will be held after his service.
