Janet Kincaid

Janet Kincaid, 80 of Logan, WV, departed this life on June 14, 2020 at her home with her loving husband and caregiver Gerald, by her side.

She was born August 3. 1939 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Cole and Edna Trent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Vanessa Grooms and one brother, Bill Harold (Edith) Trent.

Janet was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved her family, church, traveling and gardening. She was a member of the Maryetta United Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Gerald Kincaid of Logan; two daughters, Susan (Roger) Moore of Dorchester, SC and Jewell (Ray) Mullins of Chapmanville, WV; one son, Timothy (Sandra) McCoy of Chapmanville; two grandchildren, Tiffany McCoy of Logan and Roger Brandon (Allison) Moore of Charlotte, NC; three great grandchildren, Malachi McCoy, Kaylee Bannister and Isabella Vance; one sister, Linda (David) Adkins of Clovis, New Mexico; two brothers, Dana T. (Brenda) Trent of Dayton, OH and James (Pat) Trent of Weeki Wachee, FL;

Services will be held at 12 pm, Friday, June 19, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Gore Jr officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Friday, June 19, 2020 from 11 am - 12 pm at the Funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandson Roger Brandon Moore and members of her church Maryetta United Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Toby Toney, Rick Sexton, Danny Price, Gary Doss, Daniel Adams, Roger Moore, Raymond Roberts and Robbie Price.
