Janet Carver, 73 of Ranger, WV, departed this life on September 27, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

She was born February 4, 1951, in Man, WV, the daughter of the late Homer and Claudia Elkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dale Carver; grandparents, Millard and Welthie Elkins and Herbert Shelton and Lethie Lambert; two brothers, Billy Elkins and Homer Elkins Jr.; two sisters, Hazel Elkins and Arlene Freeman; and in-laws, James Dan Carver and Peggy Sue Workman.

Janet enjoyed quilting, watching Little House on the Prairie and spending as much time as possible with her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jamie Lee Carver (Barry Elkins); brother, Erschel Elkins; grandchild, Jayden Lee Swift; great grandchild, Koa Lee Swift; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 14 Mile Church of Christ with Page Freeman and Bethel Purkey officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 1pm to 2pm at the 14 Mile Church of Christ, Ranger, WV.
