James David Marcum Jr.

James David Marcum Jr, 21, of Logan, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Logan WV.

He was born January 22, 1997 in Columbus Ohio, a son of the late James David and Karen Sue Marcum.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronnie Dale Marcum Sr., Carolyn Sue Marcum and Catherine Perry.

James enjoyed hanging with his friends, singing karaoke, riding four wheelers, going fishing, hiking and being with his family and loved ones. He enjoyed his left handed cigarettes.

Those left to cherish his memory include his grandfather, William Perry of Columbus OH; six sisters, Selena Marcum, Melena (Sodia Bon) Marcum, Christina Perry all of Columbus OH, Teara (Elwood) Marcum, Sunshine (Mack) Brumfield and Nikki (Jay) Morgan all of Logan WV; two brothers, Roberto (Patricia) Perry of Columbus OH and Ricky (Joscelyn) Justice of Logan WV; nieces and nephews, Cataleya, Roberto Jr. Apollo, Ky'lan, Karen, Brentley, Abbigail, Isabella, Serinety, Sadie, Makynzi, Hayden and Amil: aunts and uncles, Ronnie Marcum, Darlie (Barry) Gearhart, Bob Perry and John (Autumn) Skeans; stepmother, Rose Gibson.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
