James Robert Kirk, 45 of Logan, WV, departed this life on June 12, 2025 at his residence.
He was born April 20, 1980 in Logan, WV the son of Oscar Kirk and the late Terri Dingess.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar D. & Georgia Kirk, Stanley Dingess and Audrey Owens, stepmother, Paula Kirk, uncle Daniel Dingess, aunt, Karen Stroud and Marilyn Kincaid and cousin, Delmer Kincaid II.
James enjoyed reading and playing his X-Box.
In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory include one son, Riley Elkins; three brothers, Stephen Kirk, Christopher Dingess and Oscar Brandon Kirk; uncles, Charles Dingess and Jackie Dingess; cousins, Phillip Dingess, Candi Lynn Cyrus, Ashlee Kincaid, Mary Moore and Anthony Moore; and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Nighbert Memorial Methodist Church with Pastor Terry Stone officiating.
