James Edward Dziekonski, 78 of Harts, WV, departed this life on Monday, February 17, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 12, 1947, in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late Alexander Dziekonski and Reathel Canterbury.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his cousin, Debbie Courts; and father and mother inlaws, Grady and Myrtle Abbott.

James was in the Navy, and he loved gardening, fishing and hunting.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Reba Dziekonski; sister-in-law, Judy Stollings; brotherin-law, Snook Stollings; niece, Andrea and Adam Samples; nephew, Brian and Lisa Stollings; his loving cousins, Brycen and Erika Jordan, Drew Jordan, Alice Courts, Morgan Courts and Lisa Aliff; a very special person who was a great help to him and his family through his sickness and death, J.J. Abbott; and his beloved dogs, Gunner and Molly.
