James Church Jr Obituary
James Willard Church Jr, 71, of Davin, WV, departed this life on April 20, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born June 11, 1949 in Logan, WV, the son of the late James Willard Church and Evelyn Bowling Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step daughter, Lynn Porter, step son, Frank Fulton and his father and mother-in-law, George and Bessie Clawson.
James enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, running the family business and spending time with friends and family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Iva Church; one sister, Goldie Whitt; two step daughters, Kathy Cook, Bonnie Frolander and Lori Jewell; and three step sons, Paul Fulton, Jesse Fulton and Thomas Fulton.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
