Jacena Devon Richards

Jacena Devon Richards, 24 of Eagles Roost Road, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on June 28, 2021 at her residence.

She was born May 4, 1997 in Williamson, WV the daughter of Jason and Shelvia Richards.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Everett & Cozette Belcher, Marble Richards and Edgar Richards, grandparents, Clifford Richards and William & Angeline Marcum. step-grandfather, Gene Farris, aunts, Francis Collins, Lilly Marcum, Mary Richards, and Minnie Belcher, uncles, James Marcum, Johnny Richards, Wallace Richards, Ishmael Richards, Joe Richards, Thomas Richards.

Jacena enjoyed listening to music, dancing, watching Tom and Jerry, chocolate milk, reese's and she loved milkshakes.

In addition to her parents, Jason & Shelvia, those left to cherish her memory include her grandmother, Devon Richards; five sisters, Terri (Jeremy) Whitt, Elizabeth Richards (Riley Turner), Joyce Ann Farris, Tabby Farris, and Jessica Farris; one brother, Matthew (Brandi) Richards; her special uncle, Mark Richards; aunts and uncles, Berthal, Manuel, Clark, Clarence, and Virginia Richards, John Marcum, Shirley Adams, Donna Dingess, Frances and Teresa Richards, Shirley and Joyce Blevins; and great-aunts and uncles, George, Troy, Curly, and Trace Belcher, Donna Conley, Molley Cline, Gladys Richards and Amanda Dingess; step-grandmother, Debra Farris; best friend, Adam Farris; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery, Crawley Creek Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Adam, Johnny, and JB Farris, Mark Richards and other family and friends.
