Inez Kay Thomas, 78 of Logan, WV, departed this life on April 21, 2025 at her residence.

She was born July 6, 1946 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Willie and Sadie Berry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Thomas, daughter, Patricia Thomas, grandsons, Timothy Thomas Jr and Christopher Todd Ramey, daughters-in-law, Denice Thomas and Crystal Thomas, son-in-law, Mickey Saunder, sisters, Avonell Trickler and Kathleen Richards, brothers, Sammy Berry and Leo Berry and her father and mother-in-law, Dewey and Pearl Thomas.

Inez enjoyed cooking and feeding people, going to church, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Anita (Mark) Blankenship of Logan, WV, Benita Thomas of North Carolina and Amanda Thomas of Charleston, WV; two sons, Timothy Thomas of Kentucky and Bobby Thomas of St. Mary's WV; one sister, Linda Flynn of Michigan; one brother, Oley Ray Berry of Chapmanville; five grandchildren, Jonathan Blankenship, Emma Blankenship, Calyx Blankenship, Samantha Blankenship and Ralph Ramey; six great-grandchildren, Sara and Josh Adkins, Shyanne, Serenity, Isiah and Chris Ramey; and her special friends, Debra Lawrence, Wanda Foley and John Blankenship.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
