Howard Clayton Moore, 65 of Jeffrey, WV, departed this life on September 6, 2024, at CAMC Memorial.

He was born April 18, 1959, in Madison, WV the son of Albert Jr. and Esclene Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sammy Moore and Freddie Moore.

Howard enjoyed working in his garden and mowing his grass.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Moore; daughter, Samantha Moore; son, James Edwin (Lisa) Moore; three sisters, Lorene Wells, Janet Miller and Shirley Thompson; two brothers, Danny Bruce Moore and Albert “Bobo” Moore; and grandchildren, Haley Cain, Hannah Cullison and Edwin Moore.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, September 12, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Lane, Dennie Evans and Steve Barker officiating.

Visitation will be on September 12, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm at the Freeman Funeral Home.
