Henrietta Sue Evans, 54 of Logan, WV, departed this life peacefully on April 23, 2025 at her son and daughter-in-law's residence in Blair, WV.

She was born August 7, 1970 in Indiana the daughter of the late Sherman and Juanita Canterbury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Pamela Burgess and Rita Jarrell.

Henrietta attended Logan High School until 1988. She married Harold Jr on May 2, 1991 in Belfry, KY. Henrietta worked at Trinity Healthcare as a CNA and was a housekeeper for Best Western in Chapmanville. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Henrietta cherished her grandchildren and her Siberian Husky Akira. Henrietta's final wish was that her family come together in peace and find comfort in each other.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harold Evans, Jr; children, Lisa (Roger) Bryant, and Eric (Brittni) Evans; brother, Sherman Canterbury Jr; grandchildren, Roger Jr (Halley) Bryant, Destiny Bryant (Brayden Layne), Ethan Bryant, Brooklyn Bryant, Kylie Bryant, Carmen Evans and Allison Evans; great grandchildren, Hunter Bryant and Aiden Layne; her loyal companion, Akira, who didn't leave her side in her final days; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends whom she loved deeply.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dennie Evans officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
