Helena Farmer

Helena Farmer, 65, of Chapmanville, departed this life on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at CAMC Memorial.

She was born May 3, 1953 in Chapmanville WV, the daughter of Olive Bryant of Chapmanville and the late Preston Bryant.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie Bryant, Dixie Bryant, Nim Conley and Minnie Conley; one son, Shawn Michael Farmer; one brother, Freddie Bryant and one sister Dreama Bryant.

Helena enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and church.

Those left to cherish her memory include three sisters, Connie (Rodney) Neal of Clay WV, Shelia (Steve Hoylman) Arthur of Alum Creek WV and Lucy Conley of Chapmanville WV; three brothers, Danny Bryant, Grady (Edna) Bryant and Gary (Debbie) Bryant all of Chapmanville WV; two grandchildren, Hailey Farmer and Becca Farmer; and special friends James Mitchem and Jeanetta Pridemore.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, November 29, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Ricky Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
