Helen Ruth Stollings

Helen Ruth Stollings, 83 of Danville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2022 at her daughter's residence.

She was born May 6, 1939 in Madison, WV the daughter of the late Elmer & Carrie Susan Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ray Stollings, grandparents, Gordon & Sara Thompson and Rathburn & Minnie Thompson, one brother, Wondel Earl Thompson, sister-in-law, Diane June Thompson and her father and mother-in-law, Jess & Nannie Stollings.

Helen loved the Lord, singing, and camping but most of all she loved Bingo and her loving family.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Patricia Ann (Clinton) Barker, Susan Michele (David) Hastings and Tammy (Steve) Prince; one brother, William Harold Thompson; two grandchildren, Carrie Ann (Tommy) Fogleman and Daniel Patrick Cummmings; three great-grandchildren, Summer Ann Fogleman, James Ross Fogleman and Autumn Marie Fogleman; and one great-great grandchild, Landon Ray Fogleman.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Lick Creek Community Church, Danville, WV.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Lick Creek Community Church with David May and Billy Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Danville, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
