Harvey Dale Farley

Harvey Dale Farley, 78, of Ranger, WV, departed this life on November 6, 2021 in Lynchburg, VA.

He was born July 29, 1943 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Jim Burl Farley and Mayme Lambert Farley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Farley, grandparents, George Washington and Mahala Pridemore Farley, two sisters, Susie Farley and Geneva Browning and two brothers, Burl Farley and Grover Farley.

Harvey enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father, gardening with his mom and wife, spending time and especially talking with friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Sandra Bryant and her husband, Darrell of Monroe, VA; one sister, Patricia Lee and her husband Frank of Portsmouth, OH; two grandchildren, Kayla Amburgey and her husband, Tyler of Monroe, VA and Kelsey Fore and her husband Kelvie of Amherst, VA; and three great-grandchildren, Addison Amburgey, Mackenzie Amburgey and Kallyn Fore.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Timothy Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the James and Dorothy Lambert Cemetery, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Billy Farley, David Farley, Grey Farley, Grover Jr Farley, Tyler Amburgey and Kelvie Fore.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
