Harry C. McMickens Jr.

Harry C. McMickens Jr, 31, of Jeffrey, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Judy McMickens; and one brother, Joey Anderson.

Harry was a very loving and caring dad. He loved his kids with all of his heart he was a very proud dad. He was one of the greatest fathers I know, he was a loving son, brother and he could always make people laugh and brighten the room, he would always tell you the truth about yourself. He loved spending time with his kids and family he loved playing video games and basketball he truly touched so many peoples lives while he was here. Harry will be missed by everyone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother and father, Marion and Gail McMickens of Jeffrey; two precious and loving children, Gavin and Allison “Allie” McMickens of Alkol, WV; mother of their children, Meranda Green of Alkol, WV; one sister, Cindy McMickens of Jeffrey; one brother in law, Trevor Goins of Jeffrey; one half sister, Stephine Anderson of Charleston; grandparents, William and Almie Baldwin of Jeffrey; one very special nephew, Joey Anderson who he loved dearly and was his side kick; two nieces, Makya White of Lake and Denise Anderson of Charleston; two nephews Andrew Anderson of KY, and Hayden Anderson of Van; and many other family and friends

Services will be held at 11:00 Am, Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Spencer United Methodist Church with Minister David Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Cemetery, Bias Branch, Jeffrey, WV.

Visitation will start on Friday, March 20, 2020 from 6:00 pm- up until the funeral on the following day at the Spencer United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
