Harley Preston Fleming

Harley Preston Fleming, 70 of Rum Creek, WV departed this life on October 27, 2023, at his residence.

He was born June 27, 1953, in Logan, WV the son of the late Charlie “Jock-O” Fleming and Luna St. Clair.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur “Bill” Fleming, Roy “Buck” Fleming, Reba (Albert) Donahue, Nancy “Presh” (Paul) Noe, Pansy Adkins, Charlie Jean Conley, and Sandra Kay Fleming.

Harley was a skilled mandolin and guitar player, he loved bluegrass music, family gatherings in his yard, and bragging on his grandkids.

Those left to cherish his memory include his long-time girlfriend, Theresa McKinnon; daughter, Marlena (Matthew Taylor) Collins; sons, Jimmy (Samantha) Fleming and Kevin (Delorice Bragg) Fleming; brother-in-law, Raymond Conley; grandchildren, Cody (Ashley) Collins, Preston Fleming, Justin Collins, Hayleh Fleming, Emily Collins, and Geo Fleming; great-grandchildren, Josh, Diana; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the funeral home with Robbie Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, family, and friends.
