Grace Alana Muncy, 40 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on June 24, 2025, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 29, 1985, in Chapmanville, WV the daughter of James and Mildred Browning of Chapmanville.

She was preceded in death by her infant brother, James Browning and her grandparents, Ed & Nawasa Browning and Clyde & Lissie Dingess.

Grace was well loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children, taking care of her cats and going on long trips to the beach. Grace was very spontaneous and loved to travel. She loved water, especially going to the lake to feed the ducks. Grace had the biggest heart and always put others above herself.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Vess “Matthew” Muncy of Chapmanville; two daughters, Tara (Lonnie) Johnson of Crum and Ariabella Muncy of Florida; two sons, Caleb Hensley of Chapmanville and Emory Muncy of Chapmanville; five sisters, Melissa (Tony) Bryant, Vikki Browning, Cindy Browning, Jamie (Michael) Euchuck and Melinda Browning; three brothers, Paul Browning, Reuben (Courtney) Browning and Abron Browning; her in-laws, Jim Ed and Sharon Muncy; two special family members that she loved, Nona and Malindia Hensley; she was loved by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Maynard officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
