Goldie "Cookie" (Kirk) Tomblin

Goldie “Cookie” Kirk Tomblin, 78 of Ferrellsburg, WV, departed this life on February 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 9, 1942 in Harts, WV, the daughter of the late Musco and Sallie Workman Kirk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvin Sr & Susan Thompson Kirk and Fletcher & Rachel Messer Workman, one sister, Ruth Fleming, and three brothers, Elba Tennis, Joe and Jim Kirk.

Cookie enjoyed reading, crocheting and shopping.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Ola Gore and Freda & Manasses Henlsey both of Harts; one brother, Lucian & Donna Kirk of Harts; and a host of nieces and nephews that were all special to her.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Home Place Cemetery, 180 Piney Fork Road, Harts, WV 25524 with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr officiating.

Friends may call Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12:00pn until 1:00pm at the at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
