Goldie Joyce Evans, 59 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on September 14, 2020 at her residence

Goldie was born November 18, 1960 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Hobert Lambert and Hazel Adkins.

In addition to her parents was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ira Lambert, Cinda (Rakes) Lambert-Eskins, Ezekiel Mullins and Goldie Mullins; one sister, Patricia Gail Rakes; one brother in law, Robbie Spriggs and a half sister, Vickie Ball.

Goldie was a nurse for over thirty years, valedictorian of her nursing class, loved reading, fishing, cooking, crocheting and football. She loved being a mom and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons, Michael (Cheryl) Maynard, Frank (Jess) Jarrell, Jeremy (Breanna) Jarrell, Patrick Jarrell; three daughters, Patricia (Frank) Boldin, Crystal Jarrell fiance (Paul Hickman) and Melissa (Joshua) Vance; thirteen grandchildren, Victoria Maynard, Luke Maynard, Jewelia Jarrell, Malachi Jarrell, Alixzandria Jarrell, Layla, Ilene Jarrell, Levi, Adelynn Boldin, Audrina Durbin, Khloe, Konner Hickman and David Vance; and seventeen brothers and sisters, Barbara Sansom, Rhonda Valero, Steven Smith, Mary Miller, Charles Frye, Roger Frye, Deborah Woodall, Delberta (Reggie) Grimes, Linda Spriggs, Jeannie (Clint) Crawford, Lisa (Rickey) Runion, Mark (Amy) Frye, LeAnn (Petey) Shabon, Virginia Colangelo, Diana Lambert, Hobert Jeffery (Sonia) Lambert and Lovetta Lambert

Services will be held at 2:00PM, September 17, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor James “Jimmy” Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.

Friends may call September 17, 2020 from 12:00PM – 2:00PM at the funeral home

Pallbearers will be Frank Jarrell, Michael Maynard, Patrick Jarrell, Jeremy Jarrell, Frank Boldin and Paul Hickman
