Goldaline Casto

Goldaline Casto, 75 of Harts, WV, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.

She was born August 4, 1947 in Twelve Pole, WV a daughter of the late Golden & Pauline Cremeans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son,, Charles “Tincy” Casto, two brothers, David Lee Cremeans and Glennis “Benny” Cremeans, and one sister, Edith Sue Taylor.

Goldaline enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing uno, spending time with family and friends and making people laugh. Her smile would light up a room. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Goldaline was a member of the Hoover Church, Harts, WV.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, William Cecil Casto of Harts; three sons, Billy Joe Casto (Ann Adams) of Ranger, Cecil (Michelle) Casto of Harts and William (Flo) Casto of Harts; one daughter, Lori Casto of Harts; one brother, Zandel “Bucky” Cremeans of Claremont, NC; three sisters, Anita Gail (Billy Ray) Casto of Harts, Darlene Crank of Logan, and Pamela Green of Catawba, NC; eighteen grandchildren; her best friend and granddaughter, Jessica Hartman; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Guyan Freewill Baptist Church with Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Thompson Branch Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 beginning at 6:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Casto, William Waverly Casto, Cecil Lee Casto, Anthony Casto, Dylon Casto, Jerry McCloud and William Christian.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
