Gloria "Jeannie" Gore

Gloria Jean “Jeannie” Gore, 71 of McConnell, WV, departed this life on December 29, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 25, 1949 in Holden, WV the daughter of the late Edward Isaacs and Georgia Bliffen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sherman & Sarah Isaacs and Jess & Mary Alice Bliffen and her father-in-law, Emil Gore Sr.

Most knew Jeannie as a seamstress who could design or fix anything that anyone threw her way. She was an artist, singer, cook and much more. Jeannie would give her last dollar to anyone in need. She raised her children's friends as her own. Jeannie loved to volunteer an would never say no. For many years she spent summers dedicated to promoting shows and being the ultimate stage mom at The Aracoma Story and spent her falls running the Shawnee Living History Trail.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Emil “June Bug” Gore of McConnell, WV; daughter, Dianna Gore Pack (Ronnie) of Whitman, WV; sons, John Edward Gore (Rebecca) of Bradenton, Fl., Michael David Gore (Hillary) of Milton, WV and Carl Ray Gillum (Kim) of Pigeon Roost, WV; sister, Susan Crites; grandchildren, Hali (Frank) Utley, Cody (Sara) Gore, Christen (Michael) Ellis, Taylor Gore, Carlee Pack, Johnathan Gore, London Gore, Carly Paynter, and Savannah Paynter; great grandchildren, Julian Gore, Jayden Meade, and Lyla Ellis; special friend, Judy McConnell; and a host of nieces and nephews that meant the world to her.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Word of Life Church at Mudfork with Josh Vanhook officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Monday, January 4, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make contributions to the Olivia Lyall family to support, care and treatment for Olivia. You can send Pay Pal to sweet_erina@hotmail.com or send checks to PO Box 292 Stollings, WV 25646 made out to Josh or Erina Lyall.

Pallbearers will be Michael Ellis, Ronnie Pack, Carl Gillium, Tommy McClemore, Bill Hill, Shane Gore, Branson Gore and Buddy Vance.
