Glenna Mae Moore Obituary
Glenna Mae Moore, 55, of Harts, West Virginia, passed away at home on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness.
Born on March 18, 1970, and raised in Ranger, WV, Glenna made her home in Harts with her husband of 23 years, Jason Moore.
Glenna’s greatest joy in life was being “Granny.” Her four grandbabies—Christian, Richard, Fisher, and Hallie—were the light of her life and the center of her world. She loved nothing more than having them over on the weekends, spoiling them with snacks, laughter, and love. Being their Granny was truly her favorite role, and she cherished every hug, giggle, and moment she spent with them.
She was also a proud mom to her three daughters, who meant the world to her. Glenna enjoyed curling up with a good book, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and spending time with her family. She loved the beach and found peace in the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. She found her greatest happiness in the simple things—time with her family, a quiet evening at home, and the laughter of those she loved most.
She is survived by her husband, Jason; her daughters, Reda (Will) Hannah, Chrissy (Bud) Eastham, and Connie (Sean) Woods; her beloved grandchildren; her siblings, Allen (Mary) Elkins, Ness Elkins, and Kevin (Cara) Elkins; sister-in-law, Leah (Tim) Sias; her parents in-law Edgar and EvaGail Moore. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, and her lifelong best friend, Jerri Hill.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Redith Elkins.
Those who knew Glenna will remember her for her big heart, her joyful laugh, and the love she poured into her family. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved most, and her memory will continue to bring comfort and smiles to all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, Glenna will be cremated, and no services will be held. Her family will celebrate her life in their own special way, surrounded by the love and laughter she gave them.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
