Glen G'boy Conley

Glen “Gboy” Conley, 66, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on February 28, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 10, 1953 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Rodolph Conley and Irene M. (McCoy) Conley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James & Betty Conley and John Allen & Ella Gray McCoy, brothers, Harry Dale Conley and Freddie Conley, sisters, Reba Bryant and Kathy Conley, brothers-in-law, Roy & Jill Dingess, and James Dingess, sister-in-law, Dolly & Earl Akers, nieces, Sharon Diane Conley, Casstina Estep, DaLana Conley and Cassandra Harvey, nephew, Earl Ray Akers, father-figure, Ray Brown, and his father & mother-in-law, Witcher & Olive Dingess.

Glen was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors. His passion was hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Glen was the rock of his family and served as a protector and provider to his family. He was considered a “Hero” in his family and friends eyes and hearts.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary J. (Dingess) Conley of Chapmanville; one daughter, Sabrina Conley-Esenbock of Hurricane; one son, Glen E. Conley of Chapmanville; one sister, Mabelene Conley and her husband Alfred of Chapmanville; two brothers, Delmus Conley and his wife Debbie and David Conley and his companion Cindy Bennett both of Chapmanville; two very special grandchildren, Jason Dale Conley and Jeanna Mae Conley both of Chapmanville; and a host of other family and friends that he loved dearly.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bob Harrison and Terry Elkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Glen Conley Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
