Glen Elden Adkins, 75 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on September 1, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born January 18, 1950 in Holden, WV the son of the late Bill & Beulah Adkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald Adkins and James Adkins, three brothers, Billy Ray (Barbara) Adkins, Clifford (Rosetta) Adkins, and Nathan Adkins, two sisters, Charlene (Ronnie) Bryant and Wanda Adkins and his father and mother-in-law, Clinton & Hester Boehm.

Glen enjoyed his animals, spending time with his grandchildren and Tiny, and riding his side by side.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nellie Rosetta Adkins; daughters, Rebecca Adkins and Glenna Beth (Wendell) Adams; sister, Marcella Adkins; brother, Arden Adkins; grandchildren, Katlyn Mullins, Gracie Mullins, Cody Adkins, Tyler Adkins and Emma Adkins; and great grandchildren, Elijah Adkins, Amara Adkins, Oakey Adkins, Hayden Adkins and Gracelyn Adkins.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Larry Light officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Seth Curry, Allen Stollings, Wendell Adkins and other family and friends.
