George Lopez Obituary

George L. Lopez, 87, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2020 at CAMC – Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 2, 1933 in Puerto Rico, the son of the late Rafael Lopez and Delores Rivera Lopez

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, George Luis Lopez Jr; two sisters, Ana Lopez and Mercedes Lopez; and one brother, Jose “Pepe” Lopez

George was a master Mason in New York city, a great grandfather, Korean Veteran- Marine, airplane/car mechanic.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Evelin (Ralph Blackmon) Lopez and Nancy (Tyrone) Medina; one son, Jose Alejandro (Brenda) Lopez; two sisters, Awilda Lopez and Francis Lopez; six granchildren, Tyrone Joseph Medina Jr, Tyler J. Medina, Talia J. Medina, Raymond Fitch, Charlotte J. Fitch and Justina Lopez; eight great grandchildren, Ariel, Anestesia, Avianna, Aidan, Rylee, Michael, Jayden and Damien.
