Obituary
Gaynelle Rose Workman, 53 of Capon Bridge, WV formerly of Big Ugly, departed this life on August 11, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born January 13, 1970 in Albany, GA the daughter of Wanda Rose McDuffie and the late Glenn Earl McDuffie.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monnie “Chipper” Workman I and father and mother-in-law, Lacy and Brenda Workman.
Gaynelle enjoyed painting and outdoor activities. She missed her days at HVFD and playing WOW.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tiffany Rose Workman; sons, Christopher Channing (Holley) Workman and Monnie Dean Workman II; sisters, Danielle Elizabeth (Brian) Stehle and Cynthia Anne (Tim) Green; brother, Glenn Earl (Amanda) McDuffie II; grandchildren, Nevaeh Noel Workman, Christopher Channing Workman Jr, Jazmine Workman, Dakota Workman, and Alexa Workman; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the funeral home with Bishop Andrew Tyre officiating. Burial will follow at the Workman Family Cemtery, Harts, WV.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Freeman Funeral Home.
