Garnet Virginia Woods

Garnet Virginia Woods, 66 of Logan, WV, departed this life on July 1, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

She was born September 24, 1954 in Lyburn, WV the daughter of Pauline Robertson of Logan, WV and the late Leonard Robertson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Woods, three brothers, Clifford Robertson, James Robertson and Johnny Robertson, one sister, Patricia Robertson, one great grandson, Jayden Reeves, son-in-law, Earl Price and mother-in-law, Ethel Woods..

Garnet was every ones Nana. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Garnet lived for her grandchildren, yard sales and bingo.

In addition to her mother Pauline, those left to cherish her memory include six daughters, Virginia Lynn (RB) Woody, Catherine Ann Krese (Andrew Burdiak), Cindy Lee (Brian) Hatfield, Kimberly Denise (Steve) Woods-Rivera, Donna Michelle (Andrew) Hall and Bethany Marie Woods (Shaune Brush); three sisters, Janet (Hiram) Marcum, Freda (Riley H.) Evans, and Sandra (Rick) Workman; five brothers, Leonard (Beulha) Robertson, Tim (Tammy) Robertson, David Robertson, Darren (Angie) Robertson and John Robertson (Shannon Skiles); ten grandchildren, Brandon Price, Kimberly Krese, Brittney Price, Cory Triplett, Daniel Bristor, Nathan Brush, Jordan Rivera, Briana Rivera, Angelina Rivera and Danielle Rivera; three great-grandchildren, Juliet Reeves, Kalynn Price, and Andy Ross; her special friend, Kathleen Varney; and all her friends from Morrison's Drive Inn.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Walter Hawkins officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the the funeral home.
