Freeman Farley

Freeman Farley, 76, of Harts, WV, departed this life on March 29, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 3, 1945 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Charlie Farley & Dixie Phillips Farley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertha Farley, two brothers, Ray Farley and Sherman Farley, two sisters, Arabha Farley Conley Mullins and Dorothy Dingess and his father and mother-in-law, Dave & Georgie Bryant.

Freeman loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, hanging out with his friends. He also loved picking the guitar, playing music and fixing up old trucks.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Donna Adams and her husband Lonnie who was like a son; three sons, Michael Duane Farley, Larry Joe Farley and Ricky Farley; seven grandchildren, Derrick Farley, Jessica Farley, Marissa Baisden, Jacob (Maddy) Adams, Brianna (Trevor Meeks) Adams, Brandon Farley and Tiffany (Randy) Baldwin; two great grandchildren, Baylee Jewell Baldwin and Kooper Ellis Baldwin; and one brother, Curtis (Mary) Farley.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, April 1, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Farley Family Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Adams, Jacob Adams, Trevor Meeks, Byron Foley, Randy Baldwin, Derrick Farley, Joe Dingess, Charlie Mullins, Don Manns Jr and Jeremy Hensley.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
