Freeda Mae Vanhorn, 75 of Clothier, WV, departed this life on July 16, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born February 8, 1950 in Amherstdale, WV the daughter of the late, Tommy & Rosiella Marcum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Marcum and three brothers, Rob Marcum, Noah Marcum and Tommy Allen Marcum.

Freeda was happy to be a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She was always able to spread a smile. Freeda was at peace when she was called home.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert Vanhorn of Clothier; one daughter, Rosiella Vanhorn of Danville; one son, Robert Big-O Vanhorn, Jr of Clothier; three sisters, Viola Neece, Rosiella Queen and Helen Jimenez; and two special friends, Amber Dolan and Linda Brown.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Spruce Laurel Church in her memory.
