Frealin Browning, 91 of Wilsondale, WV, departed this life on June 30, 2024 at his residence.

He was born February 13, 1933 in Wilsondale, a son of the late Carl Browning and Mary Dalton Browning and stepson of the late Millie Browning.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Opal Ferguson Browning, his grandparents, Willie & Georgia Browning and Ed & Tillie Dalton, brothers, Dewey, Carlos, Willie, Edward, Hillard, Willard, Noah and Arthor Browning, stepbrother, William Bruce, stepsister, Mary Bruce Browning and his father & mother-in-law, James & Emily Ferguson.

Frealin loved the Lord. He enjoyed talking to people and was always busy doing something whether it was picking up cans, cutting grass or weed eating until his son took over the yard work. Frealin also enjoyed cutting firewood with his son.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Marie (Larry) Perry of Wilsondale; sons, Virgil (Mary) Browning of Wilsondale and Ricky (Regina) Browning of Breeden; sister, Georgia Browning McNeely of Ironton; grandchildren, Amy (Timmy) Conley, Jeffrey (Kelli) Browning, Jonie Browning, Larry Edward (Teressa) Perry, Michael (Keshia) Perry, Jeremy (Candice) Perry, Timothy Browning, Anthony Frealin (Katlynn) Browning, and Patrick (Selena) Browning; great grandchildren, Austin, Chelsea, Shane, Allie, Addalynn, Tatum, Cayson, Caylix Creed, Jayslie Lace, Alexis, Karlee, Bailey Opal, Tiffany, Blake, Jacklynn, Rylee, Jaxson, Olivia and Hadliegh; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and his Mt. Moriah Church family. Frealin loved his family and extended family very much.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church with Kennith Ferguson and Dave Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Meade Cemetery, Wilsondale, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
