Frances Ann Harmon

Frances Ann Harmon, 83 of North Fork Road, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on October 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born March 25, 1938 in Hamlin, WV the daughter of the late Roy & Callie Chapman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Roy Lee Harmon and one brother, Stevie Chapman.

Frances was a member of North Fork Church of Christ. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Frances loved and enjoyed working in her flowers. Frances also enjoyed going to estate sales and many years of holiday and reunion gatherings with family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed life to the fullest.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Harmon Jr of Chapmanville; four children, Jamie Marie Halstead (Robert) of Chapmanville, Jimmy Ray Harmon (Kim) of Ohio, Kathy Hurt (Greg) of Logan and Shelia Lynn Adkins (Bill) of Chapmanville; six grandchildren, Roy Lee Harmon Jr of North Carolina, Nicholas and Katie Harmon of Charleston, Billy and Jaylynn Adkins of Chapmanville and Michelle Dingess of Chapmanville; two great grandchildren, Bryton Layne Dingess of Chapmanville; and Emilia Hope Dingess of Chapmanville; two sisters, Shirley Ayers and Robin Eldridge; and one brother, Gentry Lee Chapman.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Harmon Cemetery, 3384 North Fork Road, Chapmanville, WV with Pastor Ronnie Linville officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
