Ervin Dale Maynard, 48 of Harts, WV, departed this life on March 22, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

He was born July 13, 1977 in Huntington, WV the son of Millard “Mike” & Lola Maynard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chum & Opal Marie Maynard and Clyde & Eva Wiley, father-in-law, William David McCloud, nephew, Jonathan Lee Maynard and niece, Lola Mae Maynard.

Ervin enjoyed working on things with his dad, spending time with family, old cars and traveling backroads.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kimberly Maynard of Harts; daughters, Klista Maynard and Grace Maynard both of Harts; son, Ervin “DJ” Maynard of Harts; sister, Betty Maynard of Harts; brothers, Mikey Maynard, Russell Maynard and Robert Maynard all of Harts; his honorary children, Brittany Keyser, Jason Vance and Destiney Dingess; and his mother-in-law, Margie McCloud; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, March 27, 2026 at Freeman Funeral Home with Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the the funeral home.
