Elizabeth "Betty" Sue Hall

Elizabeth Sue “Betty” Hall, 81 of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on July 1, 2022 at Trinity Healthcare, Henlawson, WV.

She was born February 10, 1941 in Columbus, OH the daughter of the late Marvin Edward Bennett and Wilma Uldean Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hall, two sons, Arthur Hall Jr and Jack William Hall, one grandchild, Jackie Hall and seven brothers and sisters, Sondra, Ruth, Pat, Joseph, Marvin, Richard and Samuel.

Betty enjoyed going to church, shopping, watching TV, bingo and crocheting.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Annette (Thomas) Gartin and Janet Farrar; one son, Daniel M. (Madge) Hall; eight grandchildren, Lisa Park, Eli Farrar, Tanya Hall, Crystal Hall, Brandon Hall, Staci Richards, Betty Ann Holbrook and William Gartin; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the church with Rev. Elbert Collins Jr, Darrell Newsome and David McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall Cemetery, Dingess, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
