Elbert “Toboy” Watts Sr., 70, of Ranger, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in June 2, 1950, the son of the late John and Stella Watts.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his in-laws; Lee and Stella Vance, brothers; Wayne Watts, Willis (Brenda) Watts, and Bill Watts, brother in laws, Vernon Bradley, Rickey Dale Vance, Randy Joe Vance, and BoBo Vance; and sister-in-law, Lena Watts.
Toboy enjoyed pitching horse shoes with his son in law, Jeremy Sperry, deer hunting, rooster fighting, spending time with his family, and having cook outs. He also enjoyed spending time with his two special granddaughters, Melanie and Keira.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Cynthia Watts; two daughters, Amanda (Jeremy) Sperry and Patricia (Timothy) Ritchie; three sons, Elbert Neal Watts, Jason Lee Watts, and Elbert Lee Watts Jr.; one sister, Alice Bradley, four brothers, Raymond (Essie) Watts, Delbert (Bessie) Watts, David (Georgie) Watts, and John Watts; fourteen grandchildren, Melanie Ritchie, Emma Watts, Oaklee Watts, Ethan Watts, Rylee Watts, Keira Sperry, TJ Ritchie, Eli Sperry, Braxton Sperry, Easton “Tadpole” Sperry, Sophia Ritchie, Conlee Watts, Penelope Sperry, and Grayson Ritchie; special nephews, David Madden Jr. and Michael Paul Vance; sister-in-laws, Grace Watts, Roxie Pelfrey, Lisha (Glenn) Adams, and Lauretta Vance Robertson; brother in laws, Lee (Vonda) Vance Jr. and Charles Vance; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 3:00pm with Michael Paul Vance officiating at the Guyan Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the church.
