Eddie “Pete” Pridemore, 76 of Mifflin, WV, died peacefully in his sleep at home on August 18, 2024.

He was born March 6, 1948 in Logan, WV, the son of Leland and Mable Pridemore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Byrd L. and Louisa Ann Hager, Fernandis Pridemore and Sarah Bias; one brother Freddie Pridemore; one sister, Jodi Burgess; and his father and mother-in-law Edgar “tucker” Zornes and Virginia Zornes.

Pete enjoyed working on small engines, lawnmowers, ETC, spending time with his grandkids, and being the mayor of Mifflin.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Susan Pridemore; one son, Chad Edward (Tiffany) Pridemore; sisters, Donna Smith, Wanda Harris, and Beatrice Sanders; brothers, Leland Todd Pridemore and Timothy Pridemore; grandchildren, Chad Edward Pridemore Jr. and Kaylea Ann Pridemore, a host of nieces and nephews and lots of friends he liked to talk to on his daily walks when he was able to.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at New Harvest Church of the Nazarene with Ginger Dials officiating. Services will be at 316 Main Street, Madison, WV.
