Earl Wayne Turner, 73, of Julian, WV, departed this life on January 15, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born January 19, 1946 in Madison, WV, the son of the late Joseph and Myrtle Turner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Turner and an infant son, and two brothers, Richard and Donnie Turner.
Earl worked in the coal mines for 26 years. He was a member of the Camp Creek Holiness Church.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Linda Turner of Julian; two daughters, Tammie (Albert) Adams of Brushy and Rachelle (Ronnie Jr) Gillenwater of Nellis, WV; six sisters, Rachel (Ralph) Wilson of Madison, Barbara Lagassee of Chattanooga, TN, Judy (Ed) Dancy of Ballard, WV Kathy Bailey of Madison, Patty (Brian) Huffman of Locust Grove, VA, and Connie (Jerry) Woodrum of Danville; one brother, Mac (Blitz) Turner of Ridgeview; three grandchildren, Tristen Gillenwater, Elizabeth (Clifford) Adkins and Billy Ray (Brooke) Adams; five great grandchildren, Braylee, Paizlee, Parker, Carson and Layton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 20, 2020 at the Camp Creek Holiness Church, Julian, WV with Larry Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens, Danville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
