Earl Toney Jr

Earl Toney Jr, 34, of Big Ugly, WV, departed this life on February 13, 2020 in Harts, WV.

He was born August 6, 1985 in Logan, WV, the son of Gary Adkins and Nancy Adkins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Lucy Toney and Sampson Adkins.

Earl enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, digging ginseng and spending time goofing off with his family. He had a smile that just made you laugh and feel better. Earl always made people laugh and always wanted everyone to be happy.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Lucille Adkins; one son, Alex John Toney; five sisters, Samantha (Justin) Bryant, Sandra (Justin) Woody, Amanda (Anthony) Lee, Brittany Adkins and Amber Adkins; one brother, Gary Leroy (Hannah) Adkins; nieces and nephews, Larissa Lee, Landon Lee, Lawson Lee, Lorelei Lee, Paisley Woody, Tucker Woody, Abigail Bryant, Isabella Bryant, Russell Bryant, Natalie Carter, Keith Carter and Greyson Carter; and his best friend, Kevin Adkins.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, February 17, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Adkins Cemetery, Big Ugly, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
