Dorothy Ann Fouch

Dorothy Ann Fouch, 78 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 26, 2020 at her residence.

She was born December 19, 1941 in Pie, WV the daughter of the late Joe Sr and Shirley Mae Mounts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvel Fouch, grandparents, Ed Mounts, Zelphia Cline, John Snow, and Virgie Noe, brothers, John Henry Mounts, Joe Mounts Jr, William Dale Mounts, and Milton Mounts, sister, Dorine Ault, and her in-laws, John and Virdilla Fouch.

Dorothy enjoyed working word search puzzles, gardening, canning, country music, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include four daughters, Sharon Fouch of Chapmanville, Drema Fouch of Lumberport, WV, Anita Fouch of Columbus, OH and Tammy Toppings of Ranger; one son, Arvel Scott Fouch of Chapmanville; one sister, Betty Booth of O'Fallon, Ill; three brothers, Eddie Mounts of Sarah Ann, Charlie Mounts of Logan and Otis Mounts of Columbus; five grandchildren, Kristin Dempsey of St. Louis, MO, Destinee Fouch, John Fouch both of Chapmanville, Richard Toppings Sr and Alec Trevor Toppings both of Ranger; one great-grandchild, Cambree Hensley of Chapmanville; her special dog, Ranger; special daughter in law, Loretta Fouch; and son-in-law, Richard Toppings Sr.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, August 29, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Van Collins officiating. Entombment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Friends may call August 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Fouch, David Endicott, Michael Mounts, Richard Toppings Sr, Tyler Owsley, and Casey “DJ” Messer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Mounts, Richard Toppings Jr, David Pridemore and Charles Price.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
